About the opportunity

As an Associate Product Manager for the Platform Security team, your objective is to bring the next generation of platform security capabilities to life.

In this role, you’ll translate complex, highly technical concepts into clear, actionable content—developer documentation, update decks, and enablement materials that make Dayforce security features easy to understand, adopt, and love. You’ll help coordinate internal and external communications for launches, gather feedback from customers and field teams, and track adoption signals to inform future improvements. Along the way, you’ll build hands-on product skills in discovery, prioritization, and execution while learning how enterprise security and great UX come together at scale (think SSO/MFA, provisioning, permissions models, and auditability).

We believe in working hard and having fun. If you want to be part of a team where innovation fuels your world and career growth is abundant, choose Dayforce.

What you’ll get to do

  • Work closely with members of the Product Management and Development teams to translate market requirements into solutions and system designs that align with product development strategy
  • Drive forward Platform Security initiatives with a passion and enthusiasm
  • Serve as the voice of the user in conversations with design and development
  • Partner with the cybersecurity and privacy teams as well as with customers and other product development teams to understand their needs and use that input to help shape the product
  • Identify, prioritize and execute against both the backlog and roadmap using a data driven approach
  • Manage the risk of poorly developed software by ensuring the team is focused on building the right product for the right user at the right time
  • Perform ongoing backlog grooming, including maintaining and prioritizing backlog items in conjunction with team members
  • Coordinate activities across development teams, identifying, documenting and driving cross-team dependencies
  • Define acceptance criteria and technical requirements, including data requirements, data flow and usage, and for features
  • Create and maintain technical and end user documentation
  • Review product release notes and ensure the accuracy of any technical details
  • Work with product operations to plan charters and launches to get our products out to customers

Skills and experience we value

  • Highly organized, disciplined self-starter, capable of working independently or in close collaboration within an agile development team
  • Excellent consulting, collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with external customers and partners to gather requirements
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience writing user stories, doing user research, breaking down technical features
  • Knowledgeable about cybersecurity concepts, such as Identity & Access Management, RBAC, the principle of least privilege, and web session management
  • Skilled in data analysis, user interviews, documentation, and cross-timezone collaboration
  • Prior experience as a Product Manager focused on IAM or cybersecurity products
  • Working knowledge of user experience design
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
