The Associate manages a portfolio of national ancillary providers and health systems across the full contracting lifecycle, from recruitment to performance management. They translate network access and affordability goals into executable strategies while maintaining durable provider relationships.

Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Provider Contracting Associate to join our National Contracting team.

Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.

About the role:

The Associate, National Contracting manages an assigned portfolio of large national ancillary providers and/or multi-state health systems across the contracting lifecycle—from market assessment and recruitment through negotiation, implementation, performance management, renewal, and escalation. Working with Network leadership and cross-functional partners, this role translates network access and affordability goals into executable contract strategies; uses financial, claims, and provider data to inform negotiations; and maintains durable provider relationships. The Associate helps ensure contracts are operationally sound, compliant, and positioned to deliver high-quality, cost-effective member care across markets.

You will report into the Senior Director, Specialty Contracting.
