Brilliant is seeking a full-time Associate Director, Client Management for our Influencer & Celebrity team. This role will own the day-to-day client relationship and keep every influencer program on time, on budget, and flawlessly executed.
The Role
This is a client-facing, project-management-first role. All day, every day, you are the voice of Brilliant to our clients: you run the calls, write the recap, chase the approvals, and make sure nothing slips. Our strategy and talent leads build the programs; you make sure they get delivered.
You are hyper-organized. You know where every creator, contract, deliverable, and invoice stands at any moment. You understand influencer budgets inside and out, and you have done this in high-volume agency settings where dozens of creators and multiple brands are live at once.
Who We Are
We’re a fully remote performance team built on a simple promise: Work Hard. Play Hard. Laugh Hard.
We aren't for the faint of heart. We move fast, hold a ridiculously high bar for excellence, and thrive on driving real ROI for our clients. But we also believe that intense drive should come with great culture, which is why we offer unlimited PTO, Fabulous Fridays (doors close at 3pm), virtual happy hours, a monthly book club, and endless reasons to win together.
And the industry notices: we were recently named an Inc. Best Workplace 2026 and landed on the Inc. 5000 List of America's Fastest-Growing Private Companies for 2026.
What We Do
Since 2008, Brilliant has been where bold ideas meet relentless execution. We're a performance marketing agency with deep expertise in family-focused brands, bringing together PR, Influencer, Social, Paid Media, Affiliate, Retail Support, Experiential, and AI Intelligence to create integrated, full-funnel campaigns that shatter targets and cut through the noise.
What You'll Do
Own the client relationship
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for multiple influencer and celebrity accounts across Zoom, email, and Slack.
- Lead weekly status calls and client meetings, and send same-day recaps with clear next steps, owners, and deadlines.
- Know your clients’ brands, products, retail calendars, and stakeholders cold, and build relationships they trust.
- Manage expectations proactively: flag risks early, present solutions, and keep clients informed before they have to ask.
- Pull together campaign data, content, and results for client reviews, QBRs, and milestone presentations.
- Listen critically in every meeting to spot incremental opportunities within existing accounts, and bring them to leadership.
Run the project, end to end
- Own campaign timelines from kickoff through final reporting, so every program is delivered on time and aligned with client objectives.
- Build and maintain project management tools and trackers (AirTable, Asana, or similar) that give the team and clients a single source of truth.
- Track every moving piece: creator outreach, contracts, product shipments, content drafts, client approvals, go-live dates, and usage windows.
- Coordinate across Brilliant’s strategy, talent, paid media, PR, social, and analytics teams to keep integrated campaigns in sync.
- Ensure every program meets FTC disclosure guidelines and brand safety standards.
- Keep creator issues to a minimum, and handle the ones that arise calmly and quickly.
Manage the money
- Own influencer budgets on assigned accounts: track talent spend, gifting, product costs, fees, and paid amplification against approved budgets.
- Build and maintain budget trackers and flag overages or underspend before they become problems.
- Lead monthly billing reconciliation with finance, making sure creator payments, invoices, and client billing match.
- Provide inputs on account profitability and scope, and raise when work is drifting out of scope.
Lead and develop the team
- Oversee specialists and coordinators on campaign execution, and set the standard for client correspondence, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Mentor junior team members: what training do they need, and how can we encourage their growth?
- Help build and improve the client management processes, templates, and playbooks that let the team scale without sacrificing quality.
Stay sharp
- Keep a pulse on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging platforms, and share trends with clients and the team.
- Bring energy to brainstorms and push the team to think bigger.
Our Dream Team Member
- 5–7 years of client service or account management experience, with at least 3 years in influencer marketing.
- Experience in a high-volume influencer agency setting, managing many creators and multiple brands at once. Large-agency experience strongly preferred.
- A deep understanding of influencer budgets: talent rates, fees, gifting, usage rights, whitelisting costs, and how they roll up to a client budget.
- Experience leading monthly billing reconciliation and tracking account profitability.
- Hyper-organized. You build the tracker, you live in the tracker, and you never miss a deadline.
- Fluency in project management tools such as AirTable or Asana, plus familiarity with CreatorIQ, HypeAuditor, Shopify Collabs, or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of paid, gifted, affiliate, and ambassador programs, plus whitelisting, Spark Ads, and Partnership Ads.
- Experience overseeing or mentoring junior team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with composure and confidence on camera in client meetings.
- Can manage up, manage down, and keep a million moving pieces running smoothly.
- Resourceful, committed, deliberate, and genuinely enjoys crossing things off the list.

- Experience with parenting, baby, kids, toy, or family lifestyle brands.
- Experience with celebrity talent partnerships and working with agents, managers, and publicists.
- Experience on integrated campaigns that combine influencer with PR, experiential, or retail activations.
- A slight obsession with Amazon, online shopping, and discovering new products.

Salary Range: 85K–95K
