You lead a team of field sales representatives to ensure delivery of the sales strategy and achievement of annual KPIs and targets for a particular area.

How you will contribute

You will:

• Manage, develop and motivate the team and work closely with the sales capability team to ensure delivery of training to the team.
• Create and manage an annual business unit plan to deliver agreed channel revenue KPI’s and targets and provide reporting as required.
• Manage winning customer business relationships that facilitate “best in industry” execution of our categories.
• Work closely with key stakeholders including the account team, category, activation team, sales capability and customer finance to provide the optimum return across your area.
• Fully understand category and insights knowledge, coaching the team in the use of category tools to engage and influence customers to make informed decisions that will grow our categories and deliver our annual plan.

What you need to know about this position:

The incumbent will be responsible for driving Omni business across territory, managing key Modern Trade (MT) accounts, Supermarket (SAS) outlets, and E-Commerce platforms. This role requires candidate to successfully drive execution of sales strategies, enhancing brand visibility, driving market penetration, and effectively leading field sales team to achieve revenue and market share objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, monitor, and deliver key business and Sales & Distribution (S&D) objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Collaborate strategically with the Central Omni team to develop and execute localized activations, coordinating efforts with Category teams, Trade Marketing Teams and Key Account Managers to ensure seamless implementation.
• Expand market presence by leveraging a judicious mix of sales tools and resources to maximize product availability both physically (in-store presence) and mentally (brand recall).
• Influence and align with key internal stakeholders such as KAM, Trade Marketing, Sales Development, and Marketing teams to garner support and resources required for sustainable mid- to long-term growth.
• Maximize the effectiveness of trade spend budgets by ensuring optimal throughput, compliance with company standards, and delivery of impactful in-store visibility using modern merchandising tools.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Executives and Senior Sales Executives, empowering them with selling tools, training, and incentive programs designed to drive performance excellence.
• Ensure flawless execution of all promotional activities and Below The Line (BTL) marketing initiatives planned by the National Key Account teams, maximizing campaign ROI.
• Drive superior business outcomes within SAS/Supermart outlet formats in the Modern Trade channel through aggressive sales tactics and relationship management.
