Job Description

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Sales Manager (m/f/*) for ASD in Central Europe you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Drive profitable sales growth across Central Europe by expanding existing prioritized accounts and capturing new business opportunities.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing sales environment through coaching, accountability, and strong regional teamwork in GER / AUT / CH
  • Strengthen Top 50 strategic customers relationships to increase loyalty, retention, and long-term value
  • Improve market penetration by identifying regional trends, competitive dynamics, and unmet customer needs
  • Collaborate across functions to align customer needs with effective, timely, and market-relevant solutions.
  • Enhance commercial execution through disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, pricing, and margin focus.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

  • Proven sales leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams to deliver strong business results.
  • Strong commercial and strategic thinking, with expertise in account management, business development, negotiation, and profitable growth delivery.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders across countries, functions, and organizational levels.
  • Strong market and customer orientation, with the ability to translate regional insights into clear priorities, execution plans, and team action.

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Additional Skills:  experience leading change or transformation initiatives within a sales organization.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust, inspire confidence
