About this opportunity
At Getinge, we are looking for a commercially driven Area Sales Manager to strengthen our Infection Control (IC) business in Western Poland.


In this field-based role, you will be responsible for developing sales opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and driving sustainable business growth across the West Pomeranian, Greater Poland, Lubusz, Lower Silesian, and Opole provinces.


As an Area Sales Manager, you will be trusted to manage your territory independently while being supported by a highly experienced and collaborative team. Your mission will be to deliver sales results, identify new business opportunities, and help customers improve patient care through Getinge's innovative healthcare solutions.


What you will do
You will play a vital role in expanding Getinge's market presence and ensuring customers receive the highest level of support throughout the entire sales process.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving sales activities and achieving territory sales goals through customer visits, presentations, and account development.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with hospitals, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders.
  • Managing public tender opportunities and collaborating with the Tender Team to prepare competitive technical and commercial proposals.
  • Negotiating sales and service agreements while ensuring smooth delivery and implementation of solutions.
  • Identifying growth opportunities, introducing new products, and supporting marketing and promotional initiatives.


Beyond the day-to-day sales activities, you will continuously analyze market developments, monitor competitor activities, optimize business performance within your territory, and serve as a trusted partner for customers and colleagues alike.


Location:
Western Poland territory (West Pomeranian, Greater Poland, Lubusz, Lower Silesian and Opole provinces).


Preferred home base:
Poznań, Nowy Tomyśl, Leszno or Świebodzin.

This is a field-based position with frequent travel throughout the assigned region and flexibility to work remotely when not visiting customers.


You will bring

To succeed in this role, you combine strong sales expertise with a passion for healthcare and relationship building.


We believe you have:

  • A university or college degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar sales role.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience within the medical device, healthcare, or related industry.
  • Experience working with public procurement and tender processes.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Intermediate English proficiency (minimum B1/B2).
  • A valid Category B driving license.
