Our client is a well-established home improvement company with over 30 years of experience, operating multiple locations across the Midwest. They specialize in high-quality bath and remodeling solutions and run a high-volume call center environment focused on booking qualified in-home appointments for their sales team. As the business continues to scale and lead volume increases, they are expanding their remote appointment-setting team to support growth and maintain a consistent pipeline for their sales organization.

Role Overview

The Appointment Setter will be responsible for handling a high volume of inbound and auto-dialed calls, engaging prospective customers, and converting conversations into qualified, scheduled appointments. This role is highly execution-focused and operates within a fast-paced, call center-style environment where success is driven by consistency, efficiency, and the ability to follow structured processes.

Key Responsibilities

High-Volume Call Handling

  • Handle 175–225 calls per day through an auto-dialer system

  • Engage with leads in real-time as calls are presented via dialer

  • Maintain consistent energy, tone, and efficiency across a high volume of interactions

Appointment Booking

  • Follow structured scripts and call flows to guide conversations

  • Book qualified in-home appointments for the sales team

  • Keep conversations focused on securing appointments rather than selling services

Lead Qualification

  • Ask key qualifying questions related to location, timing, and interest

  • Ensure appointments meet required criteria before booking

  • Avoid over-selling or deviating from the defined process

CRM & System Management

  • Accurately update and manage lead data within LeadPerfection

  • Track call outcomes, appointment status, and follow-ups

  • Maintain clean and organized pipeline data

Dialer & Workflow Execution

  • Operate within a predictive dialer environment using Five9

  • Manage callbacks and follow-ups as needed

  • Work efficiently within a structured, queue-based workflow

Adaptability & Process Alignment

  • Adapt quickly to script updates, campaign changes, and shifting priorities

  • Remain coachable and open to feedback

  • Maintain performance consistency in a repetitive, fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in appointment setting, call center, or high-volume inbound/outbound roles

  • Experience in home services, home improvement, or similar industries (HVAC, roofing, plumbing, solar, remodeling) strongly preferred

  • Experience working with auto-dialers or predictive dialer systems preferred

Skills

  • Strong verbal communication skills with clear, neutral English

  • Ability to control and guide conversations efficiently toward booking outcomes

  • Comfortable handling high call volume with speed and consistency

  • Strong listening skills and ability to follow structured scripts naturally

  • Process-driven and execution-focused mindset rather than sales-driven

  • Comfortable working within structured systems and clear KPIs

  • Resilient, consistent, and able to manage repetitive tasks effectively

  • Coachable, adaptable, and responsive to feedback and change

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently handling high daily call volumes (175+ calls/day)

  • Strong and consistent appointment booking rates

  • High accuracy in CRM updates and lead tracking

  • Ability to remain focused, efficient, and consistent throughout the workday
