Location: Indianapolis, IN

Facility: Ascension Medical Group Clinic

Department: Physician Support Services

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm | Remote | must work in EST or CST time zone

Salary Range: $24.87 - $33.64

What You Will Do

  • Drive patient outreach initiatives via phone, text, and portal messaging to proactively schedule appointments and close critical HEDIS care gaps.

  • Conduct meticulous medical record chart scrubbing to locate clinical evidence of care, uploading findings directly to payer portals to ensure accurate quality reporting.

  • Streamline daily operations and workload management using organized tracking spreadsheets to maintain high productivity and meet outreach goals.

  • Facilitate seamless communication with clinical practices to coordinate patient care updates, resolve inquiries, and optimize overall office workflows.

  • Champion process improvements by evaluating existing office functions and recommending strategic ways to simplify daily operations and cost tracking.

What You Will Need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

  • Medical Assistant Training and/or experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with EMR/EHR and spreadsheets
  • Preferred experience or knowledge of HEDIS
