YOU WILL BE: 

Reporting directly to the Finance Squad Lead, the Workday Financial Analyst translates business and accounting requirements into scalable system solutions across our Workday Financial Management platform following our recent go-live. In this 3–5 year level role, you will provide broad functional support across the entire Finance suite designing functional updates, maintaining configurations, executing data loads, and supporting biannual release testing to ensure platform reliability.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Requirement Gathering & Solution Design: Partner directly with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to capture operational requirements, user stories, and accounting logic, translating business challenges into clean functional designs and Workday configurations.
• Full-Suite Financials Configuration: Configure, test, and maintain business processes, validation rules, condition rules, and custom notifications across the end-to-end Workday Financials environment (General Ledger, Worktags, AR, Banking, Procurement, and Expenses).
• Financial Operations & EIB Management: Create, validate, and execute Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs) for mass accounting adjustments, customer invoices, asset additions, and periodic data maintenance initiatives.
• Biannual Release Testing & Quality Assurance: Drive release readiness by evaluating new financial features, building scenario-based test scripts, and executing regression testing during Workday's R1 and R2 biannual updates.
• Agile Triage & System Maintenance: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve functional production tickets across financial modules, identifying root causes, configuring sustainable fixes, and supporting month-end close operations.
  

WHAT YOU WILL BRING: 

• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on functional Workday Financials configuration and administration experience.
• Broad Financials SME:
  • Demonstrated track record configuring and supporting Workday Core Financials / GL, custom Worktags, and Business Process (BP) framework architecture.
  • Hands-on functional configuration experience across multiple Finance modules (e.g., Accounts Receivable, Banking & Settlement, Procurement, Expenses, or Asset Management).
  • Solid proficiency in creating, validating, and executing inbound/outbound EIBs with strong financial data accuracy discipline.
  • Experience utilizing calculated fields to support accounting logic and conditional BP routing.
• Domain & Process Knowledge: Solid understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), financial period closes, and standard business-to-financial transaction workflows.
• Agile & Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills with experience operating in an agile team/squad environment and collaborating effectively with Finance business partners.
