All-Inclusive Real Estate Photographer & Media Specialist (Independent Contractor)

Although our company is headquartered in Baltimore, we service Maryland, DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware, New Jersey, Florida, and other regions across the US.

As an innovator in real estate marketing, we offer ongoing training on digital media so our team remains on the forefront of real estate technology. Photographers at Hometrack deliver an array of digital services, including floor plans, Zillow 3D tours, videography, and aerial drone media.

We have a dedicated administrative department that schedules all of your appointments so you don't have to stress about generating leads or selling—you can simply do what you love. Our editing team handles the post-production work for your static shoots; all we ask is that you upload your daily files to us by 9:00 PM EST the same day.

Job Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality interior/exterior real estate photography, video walkthroughs, aerial photos/videos, and 3D virtual tours.
• Manage daily shoot schedules, maintain clear communication with clients on-site, and upload raw media files by the daily deadline.
• Travel to assigned job sites within your coverage area and adjacent counties.
  
  

Required Equipment & Certifications:

• Standard Camera Gear: Full-frame DSLR or mirrorless camera body, ultra-wide-angle lens (16mm/17mm equivalent), sturdy tripod, and flash/lighting setup.
• Video Gear: Video-capable camera body paired with a motorized 3-axis gimbal.
• Aerial Gear: Drone and an active FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
• 3D Tour Gear: 360-degree camera fully compatible with Zillow 3D Home (e.g., Ricoh Theta Z1/X, Insta360 ONE RS/X3, or equivalent).
• High-speed internet access for daily uploading.
• Smartphone and reliable personal transportation.
  
  

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in real estate photography, videography, and drone operations.
• Active FAA Part 107 License (required at time of hire).
• Strong eye for detail, composition, and lighting.
• Extremely reliable, trustworthy, punctual, and highly communicative.
• Professional presentation and strong customer service skills on-site.
  
  

Favorable Skills:

• Prior experience with Matterport, Zillow 3D, and 2D floor plan generation.
• Advanced ambient/flash photography techniques (e.g., Flambient).
• Video editing experience (though primary editing is handled in-house).
  
  

This position is for Independent Contract (1099) work only.
