Job Summary

The Advisor Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and qualifying prospective financial advisor recruits through outbound outreach and relationship-building activities. This role supports the Branch Development team by generating qualified advisor leads, scheduling introductory meetings, maintaining accurate pipeline data in Salesforce, and fostering ongoing communication throughout the recruitment process. The Advisor Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in expanding the firm's advisor network and supporting strategic growth initiatives.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Source and identify prospective financial advisor candidates through outbound calling, networking, research, and other recruiting outreach activities.
  • Conduct initial screening and qualification of advisor prospects to assess interest, experience, and alignment with the firm's growth objectives.
  • Achieve established activity and performance goals, including outreach volume, qualified candidate introductions, and scheduled meetings for the Branch Development team.
  • Coordinate and schedule introductory calls, meetings, and follow-up discussions between qualified advisor prospects and Branch Development team members.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records, outreach activity, and pipeline data within Salesforce.
  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline of prospective financial advisors by nurturing relationships and maintaining regular communication with candidates.
  • Collaborate closely with Branch Development team members to provide updates on candidate activity, share market intelligence, and ensure a seamless recruitment process.
  • Monitor and track recruiting metrics, pipeline progress, and sourcing effectiveness to support team objectives and reporting needs.
  • Represent the firm professionally in all candidate interactions while promoting the organization's culture, value proposition, and growth opportunities.
  • Participate in periodic team meetings, training sessions, and company events, including occasional travel to the St. Louis home office as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospective candidates over the phone.
  • Experience making outbound calls and conducting proactive outreach to generate leads or candidate pipelines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting established goals and activity metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Proven success building relationships and generating candidate or client interest through proactive outreach.


Education and/or Work Experience:

  • Working Experience Required: 5+ years of experience in Financial Services.
  • Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related 9+ years.

Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a stationary position for several hours at a time and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally. Some filing is required. The work environment is an air conditioned, smoke-free, office environment. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
