Accounts Receivable Specialist

What You'll Do:

• We are seeking a highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and self‑driven individual with strong organizational skills to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply customer payments via check, ACH, wire transfer, and PayPal
• Enter approved billing adjustments, including credit memos, discounts, and credits
• Research customer payment inquiries and assist with payment reconciliations
• Resolve customer disputes by validating charges or processing billing adjustments
• Provide credit checks through D&B as needed
• Manage assigned accounts and make recommendations to senior management
• Conduct collections calls and correspondence with customers across multiple company locations nationwide
• Partner with large customers to develop customized payment solutions
• Assist with customer reconciliations and processing credit memos
• Reduce delinquency for assigned accounts and provide detailed updates on all past‑due accounts
• Perform additional tasks necessary to support the Billing and A/R team
• Follow all company and regulatory safety policies and practices
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience:
  • 2+ years of accounts receivable or related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and follow‑through
  • Proven problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Solid understanding of billing and collections procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred
• Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
• Other Requirement:
  • US citizenship required.

  • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
    • USD $ 28.85- $48.08
  • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
