The Accounts Receivable Analyst supports the organization's patient credit balance and unclaimed property (escheatment) processes through financial analysis, reconciliations, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. Working closely with the Accounts Receivable Manager, this role helps ensure accurate credit balance management, regulatory compliance, and timely completion of critical revenue cycle activities. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to develop expertise in enterprise-wide accounts receivable operations.

Monday - Friday 8-5pm CST
Responsibilities

  • Support the patient credit balance review and resolution process across the organization.
  • Assist with administration of the annual unclaimed property (escheatment) process, ensuring activities are completed accurately and within required timelines.
  • Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and perform account reconciliations to support credit balance management.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports used for operational and compliance reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT and business partners to improve reporting capabilities and automate processes.
  • Maintain process documentation, calendars, and project timelines to support annual compliance activities.
  • Partner with field and operational leadership to facilitate routine credit balance reviews.
  • Assist with audits, process documentation, and training initiatives related to credit balance management.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and applicable state regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, finance, credit, or revenue cycle operations.
  • Experience with credit balance reconciliation, reporting, and financial analysis.

  • Understanding of unclaimed property (escheatment) laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, PivotTables, data analysis, and reporting.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and managing organization-wide processes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the dental, healthcare, or multi-site healthcare industry.
  • Experience working with large datasets and financial reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Compensation

$60,000 - $70,000 per year
