Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled Accountant to join our Global Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining ledger accuracy, overseeing Accounts Payable transactional workflows, and driving month-end closing activities. You will work closely with a collaborative, cross-functional team in a remote, multi-time-zone environment to support transparent and reliable financial reporting.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

• Manage general accounting operations by preparing journal entries, completing balance sheet reconciliations, and resolving Accounts Payable and inventory discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.

• Collaborate with remote, cross-functional teams and operational partners across multiple time zones to deliver month-end closing tasks within scheduled global reporting deadlines.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, finance policies, and Sarbanes-Oxley standards while supporting internal and external audit requirements.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of professional accounting experience supporting general ledger operations and financial reporting.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, Accounts Payable management, inventory control, and foundational frameworks such as US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

• Proven ability in problem-solving, advanced Microsoft Excel data analysis, and effective cross-functional communication across global teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
