Role Overview

We are seeking an Account Manager I to focus on our Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) segment. In this role, you will be responsible for discovering new opportunities, qualifying leads, and closing deals. This is a critical role for an ambitious professional looking to accelerate their career in tech sales within a fast-paced, global company.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Conduct high-volume outbound outreach via phone, email, and social channels (e.g., LinkedIn) to engage prospective SMB clients.
  • Lead Qualification: Effectively qualify inbound marketing leads and outbound prospects to understand their business challenges and communication needs.
  • Pitching & Demos: Articulate the value of Sinch’s messaging, voice, and email solutions to key decision-makers. Conduct professional product demonstrations to showcase our capabilities.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain an active pipeline of opportunities within the CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring all data and sales activities are logged accurately and promptly.
  • Deal Closing: Guide qualified SMB prospects through the sales cycle to successful closure, meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the broader sales, marketing, and customer success teams to optimize the customer journey and ensure seamless onboarding.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in sales, account management, or B2B business development, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to confidently interact with business owners, executives, and technical stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of cloud communications and SaaS models. Previous experience with CPaaS or software sales is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (like Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms.
  • Resilient, goal-oriented, and highly self-motivated. You should possess a "hunter" mentality with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
