Axis Communications is looking for a proactive Account Manager to grow our partner business across a designated territory in North/West Switzerland.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As an Account Manager, your mission is to grow sales by developing a portfolio of mid-size accounts across your designated Swiss territory, with a strong focus on new business. You'll manage top active partners while actively promoting Axis solutions to current and potential partners alike.

• Own your accounts. You handle different accounts, developing clear business plans for each to drive sustainable revenue growth.
• Build capable partners. You identify and manage strategic partners, ensuring their sales teams are well trained and their marketing and website details stay accurate and up to date.
• Show up and represent Axis. You participate in trade shows, seminars, academies, webinars, and other promotional sales activities across your territory.
• Be in the field. You spend the majority of your time on the ground, educating strategic partners through partner meetings, site surveys, seminars, trainings, and webinars.
• Coach and train. You support trainings and partner events, coaching partners on new tools and solutions as they launch, helping them navigate the full Axis end-to-end solution portfolio.
• Collaborate to grow. You work closely with both Marketing and the wider Sales team to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Stay organised. You use Salesforce to manage and support your business activities effectively.
• Support the wider team. You work alongside the CH Sales team, helping develop focus accounts together with a view toward bringing them fully into active field engagement.
• Be a culture carrier. You act as a genuine ambassador of Axis culture in everything you do.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You are a field-based relationship builder who genuinely enjoys coaching and educating partners as much as closing new businesses. You're comfortable navigating a two-tier sales model, switching fluidly between languages and audiences, and adapting your communication style depending on who's in the room.

We would love to hear from you if you have/are:

• At least 3 years of sales experience in a similar role, ideally within a tech-oriented field
• A good understanding of the two-tier sales model
• A genuine interest in technology, paired with solid technical understanding
• Advanced MS Office skills; Salesforce knowledge is a plus
• A sales-driven mindset with a genuine will to grow existing business
• The ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders toward a common goal
• Strong team spirit and collaborative approach
• Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally, with the ability to adapt your message to your audience
• The ability to plan and manage your own activities independently
• Mandatory fluency in German, French, and English, written and spoken. Other languages (Italian, Swedish etc.) would be considered a plus
• Willingness to travel regularly across your territory

WHERE WILL YOU BE BASED?

This role covers a designated territory across North/West Switzerland, and we're open to candidates based in cities such as Basel, Bern, Lausanne, or elsewhere within this region. Given the trilingual nature of this territory and the strong field focus of this role, regular travel across the area is a core and rewarding part of the job.
