Account Executive

MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Account Executive local to Bowling Green, Kentucky, to support our fast-growing Voice (MSS) division. This role focuses on developing new business, strengthening existing customer relationships, and serving as a trusted advisor to organizations throughout the assigned territory by delivering tailored communication technology solutions that support their operational needs.

This role offers the opportunity to combine consultative relationship-building with technology-driven problem-solving. You'll partner with organizations across your territory to understand their operational challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver communication solutions that help them operate more safely, efficiently, and effectively.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders throughout the assigned territory.
• Serving as a trusted advisor by understanding operational challenges and recommending tailored communication technology solutions. 
• Developing new business opportunities while strengthening and expanding existing customer relationships. 
• Managing the full sales cycle, from initial customer engagement and opportunity development through closing and ongoing account growth. 
• Collaborating across the organization to deliver exceptional customer experiences and foster long-term customer loyalty. 
• Developing and executing territory strategies that drive revenue growth and support business objectives. 
• Following up on leads and customer opportunities with urgency and professionalism to maximize engagement and business growth.
• Staying informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to effectively position MCA solutions.
• Advancing MCA's position as a trusted communications technology partner throughout the assigned territory.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

• 3+ years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience within markets like manufacturing, construction, hospitality, utilities, education, or healthcare.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Two-Way Radio, Land Mobile Radio, or critical communications is a plus.
• A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals while building and growing customer relationships.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, service-first mindset.
• Ability to build credibility with stakeholders and understand operational challenges in order to recommend effective solutions.
• Ability to clearly articulate complex technology product features, benefits, and value to customers.
• Strong self-motivation and personal drive, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• High-energy, result-driven individual who takes ownership of their work, pays close attention to detail, and embraces accountability.
• A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in or be local to the Bowling Green, KY area.

Regular travel within the assigned territory is required to meet with clients, attend events, and build/maintain customer relationships. Candidates must be comfortable managing their schedule and traveling independently to ensure consistent face-to-face engagement with their customer base.
