The Role
We're looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, and high-agency Account Executive to join our early growth team.
This is an opportunity to help build Aeon's commercial engine from the ground up. As one of the earliest members of our sales team, you'll work directly with our founders and leadership to establish our presence across British Columbia, shape our go-to-market strategy, and win some of our earliest customers.
During your first 6–12 months, much of your time will focus on building pipeline through outbound prospecting, customer discovery, networking, and relationship development. That's because we're an early-stage company building our commercial foundation. As Aeon grows and our sales motion matures, you'll take on increasing ownership of customer opportunities, ultimately managing the full sales cycle within your territory.
Success in this role will be highly collaborative. You'll partner closely with leadership on product demonstrations, evaluations, procurement discussions, and commercial negotiations while helping build the sales playbooks, messaging, and territory strategy that will define Aeon's future growth.
This role is ideal for someone who loves creating opportunities from scratch, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to accelerate their career while helping build a category-defining healthcare technology company.
About Aeon Health
Aeon Health is building a modern, AI-powered electronic medical record (EMR) co-founded by leaders behind Clio and practicing physicians.
We help practitioners work with greater efficiency, precision, and professional satisfaction through intuitive workflows and seamless integration—reducing administrative burden so clinicians can focus on what matters most: patient care.
We build with a high bar for reliability, privacy, and trust. We believe well-designed technology can meaningfully improve outcomes and expand access for both patients and practitioners.
What You’ll Do
Build and Develop a Territory
- Help establish Aeon’s presence across British Columbia, with future expansion into Alberta and Ontario
- Identify and engage clinics, physician groups, nurse practitioners, and healthcare organizations that could benefit from Aeon
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and industry engagement
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem
Create Opportunities
- Own outbound prospecting across phone, email, LinkedIn, events, and in-person clinic visits
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities
- Conduct customer discovery conversations to understand workflows, operational challenges, and unmet needs
- Educate prospective customers on Aeon’s vision, platform, and value proposition
- Consistently develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities
Support and Progress Deals
- Partner closely with the Director of Business Development to advance opportunities through the sales process
- Participate in and lead product demonstrations and customer presentations
- Help coordinate evaluations, pilots, and customer validation activities
- Build relationships with physicians, clinic managers, MOAs, administrators, and operational leaders
- Contribute to commercial discussions and deal progression activities
- Gradually assume greater ownership of opportunities as experience and confidence grow
Help Build the Go-To-Market Engine
- Work closely with leadership to test, refine, and scale messaging, positioning, and outreach strategies
- Help build repeatable sales processes, infrastructure, and playbooks
- Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and forecasting information in HubSpot
- Share customer feedback and market insights that influence product development and company strategy
Represent Aeon in the Market
- Attend conferences, trade shows, and industry events
- Build relationships across the healthcare community
- Travel within Canada as needed to support business development efforts
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a customer-facing commercial role
- Demonstrated success generating opportunities through outbound prospecting and relationship building
- Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly establish credibility and trust
- A true hunter mentality—comfortable creating opportunities from scratch and overcoming obstacles
- Curious and consultative approach to understanding customer challenges
- Strong organizational skills and disciplined follow-through
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to operate independently
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and contributing beyond a traditional job description
- Excited by the opportunity to build something from the ground up
- Genuine interest in healthcare, technology, and improving clinician workflows
You might be a great fit if you...
- Love creating opportunities rather than waiting for inbound leads
- Are energized by prospecting and building relationships
- Prefer ownership over structure
- Thrive in fast-moving startup environments
- Are naturally curious and enjoy solving customer problems
- Have high standards for execution and follow-through
- Want to build something meaningful in healthcare
Nice to Have
- Experience in SaaS, healthcare technology, or healthcare services
- Experience selling to healthcare providers or healthcare organizations
- Familiarity with EMRs, clinical workflows, or healthcare operations
- Experience with conferences, events, or field-based sales activities
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot
- Exposure to consultative or complex B2B sales environments
What Success Looks Like

- Work directly with experienced founders, operators, and healthcare leaders
- Receive mentorship and hands-on exposure to every stage of the sales process
- Play a meaningful role in shaping both product strategy and go-to-market execution
- Build skills that accelerate your progression into a full-cycle Account Executive role
- Have a direct impact on company growth and success
- Join a team that values ownership, curiosity, collaboration, and execution
