About the Role

We are on the hunt for a skilled Account Executive with solid experience in B2B software solutions sales, particularly focused on new business acquisition. In this key role, you will own the sales process from start to finish, strategically tailoring your approach to meet the diverse needs of both SME and enterprise-level customers. You'll identify potential clients, develop relationships, conduct compelling demonstrations, and negotiate contracts. Your goal will be to significantly expand our customer base and help clients achieve their safety objectives with our innovative software.


What You'll Do

     Drive New Business: Develop and execute strategic plans to identify, target, and acquire new clients across various market segments, focusing on expanding SafetyIQ's footprint.

     Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Manage the entire sales cycle, from proactive lead generation (through cold calling, networking, and digital outreach) and pipeline development to crafting compelling proposals, demonstrating our solutions, and closing deals to meet ambitious revenue targets.

     Strategic Engagement: Apply a consultative approach to sales, understanding customer needs and skillfully tailoring solutions and presentations to resonate with both Small-to-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and large enterprise clients.

     Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong, lasting relationships with key customers, identifying opportunities for deeper engagement and expansion of our offerings.

     Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams, including Customer Success for seamless client onboarding, and Product Development to provide crucial client feedback for continuous software enhancement.

     Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and contribute valuable insights to our product and marketing teams.

     Brand Ambassador: Represent SafetyIQ at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings as needed, enhancing our brand visibility and generating new leads.


What We're Looking For

     3+ years of proven success in B2B software solution sales, with a strong track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas, particularly in new business acquisition.

     You are adept at managing the full sales cycle and can effectively grow a robust sales pipeline using innovative strategies.

     Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, facilitating seamless client interactions.

     Skilled in engaging with both SME and enterprise-level clients, understanding and adapting strategies for different sales environments.

     Highly driven, results-oriented, and a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup to scale-up environment.

     Experience working with CRM software and sales tools (HubSpot preferred).

     A strong team player who can work both independently and collaboratively.

     Exposure and/or experience with environmental health & safety solutions and processes will be highly regarded.
