STCU

The Senior Home Loan Underwriter analyzes and renders lending decisions on home loans while ensuring compliance with investor guidelines and STCU policies. This role also provides mentorship and training to other team members and represents the underwriting department in various projects.

Manage delinquent real estate and share accounts, repossessions, and bankruptcies to minimize financial risk and loan losses. Coordinate with attorneys and third-party vendors to execute legal recovery actions while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Analyze and render home loan lending decisions based on STCU policies and secondary market investor guidelines. Provide mentorship and training to loan officers, processors, and other underwriters while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
