The role involves the design and/or checking of deliverables for high voltage substation design projects, ensuring accuracy while working under the direction of a Substation Physical (Outdoor) Engineering Group Lead. Responsibilities include utilizing AutoCAD-based standards to prepare technical deliverables that comply with IEEE and/or client standards.

The Associate Designer is responsible for the design of deliverables for high voltage substation projects, including creating documents like One Line Diagrams and various layout plans. This role requires utilizing AutoCAD based design standards to prepare technical deliverables that comply with IEEE and client standards.

As a fully competent engineer, the role involves independently evaluating, selecting, and applying engineering principles for project requirements, capable of acting as Lead Engineer on single or smaller multi-discipline projects. Responsibilities include conceptualizing initial design approaches for major project phases or having overall engineering responsibility for limited scope projects, while managing personal and team task assignments.
