The physician will provide evidence-based addiction medicine services through both virtual health platforms and rapid access clinics. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver equitable and low-barrier care to patients within the Fraser Health region.

Physicians will join the Department of Addiction Medicine and Substance Use Services to provide evidence-based and evidence-informed addiction medicine services through the Virtual Health Addiction Clinic (VHAC). Opportunities are available with varying time commitments, including full-time, part-time, and occasional coverage.

The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse provides and coordinates psychiatric nursing care, performing assessments, crisis intervention, and patient/family education, often utilizing remote technology for delivery. Responsibilities include planning and evaluating nursing care, monitoring patients remotely when required, and communicating with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include utilizing an evidence-based approach to assess patient occupational performance, planning and implementing individual or group therapy programs, and monitoring treatment quality and outcomes. The role also involves providing care remotely via telephone or video conference, delegating tasks to assistants, and maintaining comprehensive patient records.

The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse provides and coordinates psychiatric nursing care services, including assessments, crisis intervention, and patient education. They also participate in quality improvement activities and support the therapeutic program of the unit.
