The Nuclear Engineer will perform criticality safety assessments and risk evaluations for nuclear processes including fuel fabrication and storage. They will utilize computational tools such as MCNP, SCALE, and KENO to ensure systems meet rigorous safety standards.

The specialist will perform and review MCNP and SCALE analyses for criticality safety, radiation protection, and reactor operations. They are also responsible for developing and reviewing nuclear safety documentation in accordance with DOE and commercial standards.

The Nuclear Criticality Safety Engineer will perform criticality safety evaluations and hazard analyses for the handling, storage, and transportation of fissile materials. They will also develop safety documentation, implement safety controls, and provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
