The Associate Director will develop and implement an external engagement strategy for Parkinson's Disease and Multiple System Atrophy programs, focusing on building relationships with patient communities and advocacy groups. The Associate Director, Patient Engagement will develop and implement an external engagement strategy to build relationships with patient communities and advocacy groups in Europe. This role will ensure that patient perspectives are integrated into clinical development programs and company decision-making processes.

Lead Europe-based patient advocacy engagements and collaborations to integrate the patient voice into clinical development programs. Develop and execute external engagement strategies to improve disease understanding and empower patient communities across various therapeutic areas.

Lead US-based patient advocacy and external engagement strategies for Parkinson's Disease and Multiple System Atrophy programs. Act as the primary bridge between patient communities and the organization to ensure the patient voice shapes clinical development and decision-making.

Lead the global strategic clinical development for the GDNF program, overseeing the design and execution of complex gene therapy clinical trials. Manage a team of medical directors and collaborate cross-functionally to support regulatory approvals and commercial launches in the US, EU, and UK.

The Medical Director will provide strategic and hands-on clinical leadership for gene therapy programs targeting CNS movement disorders across Phase 1-3 development, serving as the medical leader for clinical trial design and execution. Key duties include driving clinical development strategy, serving as a Parkinson’s clinical expert, leading risk-benefit assessments, and supporting regulatory interactions.
