The role involves building and extending batch pipelines using dbt and Dagster, while also advancing real-time streaming capabilities with Kafka and FlinkSQL to process data and deliver low-latency datasets. Responsibilities also include designing data platform standards, improving reliability and observability, and owning platform operations like performance tuning and cost optimization.
