Yardi Administrator (REMOTE)

Basis Industrial is seeking a Yardi Systems Administrator to play a key role in supporting and optimizing the company’s Yardi system and various modules. This full-time remote role will serve as the primary point contact for Yardi support and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain reliable systems, troubleshoot and provide end-user support, improve workflows, and build custom reports/dashboards for the company.

 Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day administrator of the Yardi platform
• Manage and resolve Yardi support tickets submitted by internal users
• Monitor system performance, configure, and optimize Yardi and related property management systems
• Manager user access, security roles, property setup, and help desk support for all departments and employees
• Escalate complex issues to Yardi and third-party vendors as needed, tracking progress through resolution
• Deliver system training, onboarding, and ongoing user support to ensure successful adoption of the software and best practices
• Analyze real estate data, occupancy trends, rental performance, and financial reports to support business decision-making
• Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and automation using business intelligence tolls
• Coordinate testing, implementation, and rollout of new Yardi features, modules, and updates
• Administer and support Yardi Voyager and company-utilized modules, including configuration, security, workflows and system settings.
• Maintain Yardi entity/property setup, chart of accounts, financial report structures/trees and other system-level configurations.
• Support and troubleshoot integrations, interfaces, imports/exports and data feeds between Yardi and banking, payment, reporting and other third-party systems.
• Develop and maintain Yardi reports, YSR reports, dashboards, data extracts and other reporting solutions.
• Support accounting during month-end and year-end close by troubleshooting system, posting, reporting and reconciliation issues.
• Maintain system documentation, configuration records, procedures and user guides.
• Partner with Accounting, Property Management, Asset Management and other departments to translate business requirements into Yardi solutions
• Troubleshoot system issues and recommend technology solutions to improve user experience
• Gather feedback from internal users and identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements
• Analyze real estate data, occupancy trends, rental performance, and financial reports to support business decision-making

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or similar field
• 5+ years of experience working with Yardi Voyager in an admin role
• Strong understanding of commercial property management and various workflows
• Experience troubleshooting software issues and supporting end users
• Strong analytical, organizations, and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with accuracy
