Job Description:

Summary

The Warranty Claims Coordinator is responsible for the timely review of repair orders and purchase orders for warranty claim determination.  The position will research and gather information to maximize warranty recovery and submit warranty claims to designated manufacturers efficiently.   

Essential Functions

• Review repair orders and purchase orders for warranty claim determination.  Create and submit warranty claims to designated manufacturers, adhering to manufacturer guidelines to ensure warranty recovery 

• Communicate with  field management in regard to missing information on repairs, 4-15s, and chargebacks to increase Warranty credits and build Warranty/Field relationships 

• Communicate with Manufacturer representatives to improve warranty collection opportunities 

•Collaborate with Warranty Manager to identify process improvements and best practices 

Special projects as needed 

Additional Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team to meet departmental deadlines 
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment 
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills 
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices 

Qualifications

• Associate's degree Associates in Business, Accounting, or Communications or HS diploma/GED with equivalent years of experience Preferred 
• Two (2) years or more Data Entry preferred 
• One (1) year or more Customer Service preferred 
• One (1) year or more Diesel Technology preferred 

Travel

• Yes - 3/4 times a year

Compensation Information:
