About the role

  • As the Vice President of Sales for Enervenue, your role will be to lead and oversee the company's strategic growth initiatives in the APO region. You will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, developing, and executing strategies to expand the company's market presence, and establishing and maintaining strong partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders.  As the first APO sales resource you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, running the sales cycle, negotiating contracts, participation in conferences, and closing deals.  As the business grows, you will be responsible for scaling the sales resource plan.

What you'll do

  • Drive narrative of long duration, and multiple cycles per day, for BESS market.
  • Work with marketing to develop market penetration programs for region.
  • Build network of developers, EPC’, and off takers.
  • Effectively and enthusiastically promotes the EnerVenue value proposition to the market, industry leaders and stakeholders.
  • Ensures an on-going superior customer experience for current and potential customers from initial contact to closure and on-going support.
  • Provides weekly forecast of orders, and reports on key items of interest.
  • Awareness and participation in renewable energy technologies trends and corresponding effects on both energy markets and distribution deployment strategies.
  • Manage documenting all activities in Salesforce.com

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of sales leadership experience with knowledge of residential renewable energy market.
  • A BS/BA degree in Business, Engineering, or other related discipline is required. A technical engineering degree with high business intellect is desirable.
  • He/She will be able to think strategically and the same time act tactically. The ability to be hands-on and share best practices is critical.
  • Has a demonstrated ability to design a sales strategy, for complex sales cycles, in an early-stage company is desired.
