The VP of FP&A will lead financial planning and analysis, supporting the company through a major due diligence and sale process over the next 18 months. They will manage a team of nine, oversee P&L reporting, and build robust financial models to support strategic decision-making.
This is a 100% remote role based anywhere in the United States.

Interested in exploring the intersection of AI and FP&A / Workflow Automation
You will come in as the company has just started exploring a sale and will be tasked with supporting the company through the due diligence and sale process. The company's business is complex, and there will be a very steep learning curve with limited time to get up to speed, so we are looking for someone who can come in and understand the nuances of working with on-prem revenue / ASC606 and how that impacts forecasting. There is a strong existing accounting support function that will work closely with the FP&A function.
Responsibilities
Support the company through a successful due diligence and transaction over the next 18 months, interfacing with the PE Sponsor as well as the buyer.
Quickly gain a deep understanding of the business - Forecasting, Sales Cycles (9+ months), Revenue Recognition (ASC 606), Customer Expectations, Operational Complexities.
Leverage Pigment, lead P&L reporting and forecasting processes (monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range plans) with a high degree of accuracy and transparency
Build and maintain and present robust financial models and systems to support scenario planning, decision-making, and provide visibility into key metrics and relevant KPIs
Manage a team of ~9.
Qualifications
15+ years in FP&A / Leadership within the tech space with an emphasis on forecasting, financial analysis, and modeling
Must have previous experience leading a successful transaction (or multiple transactions)
Familiarity with FP&A within On-Prem Software (Subscription-Based Recurring Revenue) environments is preferred but at a minimum must have experience with SaaS / Recurring Revenue Models.
Experience applying AI Tools for process improvement and workflow automation. Experience automating manual processes is ideal.
Experience working at other equivalent Network Infrastructure / Security Software companies is ideal.
Experience in an equivalent scaled organization (500+ employees, 200M+ Revenue)
Experience working under other Private Equity Sponsors - M&A / Transaction, Capital Raising background
Background in banking, consulting, or due diligence/advisory earlier in your career is a plus
Track record of influencing leadership decisions through clear communication of complex data analysis
Experience thinking strategically about complex business problems, leading to recommendations and action plans
