What you’ll be doing:

• Provides leadership, strategic direction and oversight for the assigned Region.
• Explores commercial opportunities in the LATAM market space to grow the customer base. 
• Partners with internal stakeholders to drive insightful and impactful interactions and promote the value of the clinical research team through the contribution to the R&D portfolio success.
• Develops and executes local business strategy aligned with global company goals. 
• Engages with customers, staff, providers, partner CROs and regulators to explore and develop leads/opportunities in the community. 
• Designs business strategies and interventions based on local industry needs/opportunities. 
• Acts as Premier Research’s liaison/representative with the regional community.
• Ensures Premier has a full understanding of all regional Regulatory nuances.  
• Provides support to operational leaders on delivery solutions specific to the region including vendors, regional customs and norms and interpretation of regulations and best practices

What we are searching for: 

• Undergraduate degree or its international equivalent in clinical, science or health related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry in a project management, clinical research, data management, statistics or regulatory affairs leadership role
• At least 8 years’ experience in a management capacity
• Strong knowledge of regulatory, scientific, technical and clinical expertise in conduct of clinical trials in the respective area of focus as demonstrated by past positions related to the therapeutic/specialty area in the CRO and Pharma/Biotech sector
• Has a consultative communication and collaboration approach to the implementation of the project plan with the team and the customer
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities with excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Work travel up to 35%
