About the Role:

Prisma is a fast-growing property technology business within Priority, delivering innovative software and payments solutions that help property owners and managers simplify operations, accelerate cash flow, and improve the resident experience.

The Vice President, Business Operations serves as the operational leader for the Prisma business, partnering closely with business leadership to translate strategic priorities into execution. This role is responsible for establishing the operating rhythm of the business, improving cross-functional execution, developing scalable processes, and ensuring teams remain aligned around delivering exceptional customer and business outcomes.

Prisma operates with the mindset of a startup—fast-paced, collaborative, and highly entrepreneurial. Success in this role requires someone who enjoys building, thrives in ambiguity, and is equally comfortable developing long-term operating models and rolling up their sleeves to solve immediate business challenges. The ideal candidate brings a strong bias for action, creates clarity from complexity, and builds systems that enable sustainable growth without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

Responsibilities:

Business Operations & Execution

  • Partner with Prisma leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable operating plans.

  • Establish and manage the operating cadence for the business, quarterly planning, business reviews, and performance reporting.

  • Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards that provide visibility into business performance and support data-driven decision making.

  • Drive accountability and own the execution framework for Prisma's strategic priorities, proactively identifying missed commitments, resolving cross-functional blockers, escalating risks, and driving corrective action with functional leaders.

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical solutions that improve execution, efficiency, and customer outcomes.

  • Partner with Finance and functional leaders to establish and monitor revenue, margin, operating expense, customer, productivity, and capacity metrics, ensuring operational decisions support Prisma's financial objectives.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner across Sales, Customer Success, Implementations, Operations, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance to improve alignment and execution.

  • Improve communication and coordination across teams to ensure seamless customer experiences throughout the customer lifecycle.

  • Own and continuously improve the end-to-end customer operating model across Sales, contracting, implementation, launch, adoption, ongoing customer success, retention, and expansion—ensuring clear ownership, effective handoffs, defined success criteria, and accountability at each stage of the customer lifecycle.

  • Identify and resolve gaps across the customer journey, ensuring risks, dependencies, and breakdowns between functions are surfaced early and addressed before they impact customer outcomes.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve operational performance and support business growth.

  • Balance competing priorities while helping teams make informed tradeoff decisions that best support customers and business objectives.

Operational Excellence

  • Design and implement scalable operating processes that enable continued business growth.

  • Simplify workflows and improve operational efficiency while maintaining the agility required in a growing business.

  • Establish performance metrics that drive accountability and continuous improvement across the organization.

  • Foster a culture focused on ownership, execution, collaboration, and operational excellence.

 Organizational Leadership

  • Coach and develop team members to strengthen organizational capability and execution.

  • Help build management systems that improve prioritization, communication, and accountability.

  • Partner with leadership on organizational planning, talent acquisition, and resource allocation as the business grows.

  • Champion a culture where individuals take initiative, solve problems collaboratively, and continuously seek better ways of working.

Within the first 12–18 months, the Vice President, Business Operations will:

  • Establish a disciplined operating cadence that improves visibility, accountability, and execution across the Prisma business.

  • Build meaningful business dashboards and KPIs that support faster, data-driven decision making.

  • Improve cross-functional collaboration and execution across customer-facing and product organizations.

  • Simplify operational processes that increase efficiency while preserving Prisma's entrepreneurial culture.

  • Help the business scale by creating operational structure that enables growth without sacrificing agility or speed.

Candidate Requirements:
