Summary In our Valuation & Litigation Support Manager role, you will be responsible for managing valuation, litigation, and forensic engagements; conducting financial and investigative analysis; supporting Expert Witnesses through all stages of litigation; managing client relationships and project deliverables; and leading, mentoring, and developing team members.
Essential Functions
Manage the full lifecycle of valuation, litigation support, and forensic engagements, providing high-quality analysis and deliverables to support Expert Witnesses and clients.
Conduct investigations and analyze financial records, transactions, and large datasets to support litigation matters, fraud investigations, damages calculations, and valuation engagements.
Consult with attorneys and clients throughout all stages of business disputes, including case development, discovery, damages analysis, and expert testimony.
Lead the preparation and review of valuation models, expert reports, forensic reports, working papers, schedules, and supporting analyses.
Build and review complex financial models and analyses and leverage data analytics to identify trends, anomalies, and relationships.
Manage client relationships, communicate complex financial concepts clearly, and ensure the quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of client engagements.
Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members while effectively delegating work and managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
Support business development and client growth through relationship building, proposals, presentations, and identification of new opportunities.
Lead the practice in integrating AI and advanced analytics into valuation models, including automating data gathering, comparable selection, normalization adjustments and report writing assistance.
Apply AI-enabled tools across litigation and forensics work, such as document review, transaction and anomaly detection, and data analysis, while maintaining defensibility, validation, and professional skepticism suitable for expert testimony.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
5–7 years of relevant experience in litigation support, forensic accounting, valuation, or financial consulting.
Professional certification preferred, such as CPA, CFF, CFE, ABV, ASA, or CVA.
Experience with commercial litigation, economic damages, fraud investigations, forensic analysis, and business valuation.
Strong financial analysis, investigative, and Microsoft Excel skills, including experience working with complex datasets.
Knowledge of frequently used databases used in valuation and litigations support work, such as BVResources, Tagnifi, KTMine, Partnership Profiles, Kroll Cost of Capital, etc.
Strong project management, client relationship, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and clearly communicate complex financial concepts.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members while working effectively both independently and collaboratively.
Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and discretion when handling complex, confidential, and sensitive matters.
