Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Virtual Legal Assistant / Intake Specialist to support our growing legal team. This role will be instrumental in managing client intake, communications, and legal support functions as we revamp our Intake Department and manage a high volume of open cases.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and experienced in handling legal workflows, client communications, and administrative support in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. PST

Monthly Compensation: 1,150 to 1,220 USD

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support attorneys with case preparation and documentation
  • Enter and update data in CRM systems
  • Follow up with prospective clients to secure signed retainer agreements
  • Qualify leads and coordinate with attorneys for final qualification
  • Handle incoming phone calls and direct them based on client needs
  • Review and organize discovery documents
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and case updates
  • Respond to web inquiries, emails, and leads in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures (especially discovery and filings)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience with CRM systems and case management software
  • Ability to multitask and manage high-volume workloads
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive follow-up and client management skills
