You will design efficient user flows for a B2B travel booking platform, focusing on reducing clicks and keystrokes for travel coordinators. You will work closely with the Product Owner and engineers to prototype, review, and polish features from concept to release.
You will design how travel coordinators book and manage travel for people who work at sea, in the air, and on rigs. These coordinators book dozens of trips a day under time pressure. Every click, keystroke, and scroll you remove from their flow saves them real time, and that is what makes them stay with us. You report to our Art Director and work side by side with a Product Owner.
C Teleport is an automated B2B travel agency for enterprise clients, mostly in the maritime, aviation, and oil and gas sectors. Our product is the booking platform these clients use every day. We have a design system in place and are moving our design work to Claude Design. What we need now is someone who starts from the user and their job, works out the shortest path to get it done, and prototypes it fast enough for the team to discuss real options rather than a picture.
Start every feature by understanding the coordinator: who they are, what they are trying to get done, and where it hurts today. The Product Owner brings the problem; you sharpen it and challenge it before drawing anything.
Design the whole flow, including empty states, errors, and what happens when a process fails. Aim for the fewest clicks, keystrokes, and decisions the task allows.
Build clickable prototypes in Claude Design or a similar tool, in hours rather than days, and bring two or three real alternatives with their trade-offs named.
Prototype with our real design-system components so engineers and AI coding agents can lift the result almost as-is. Add a new component only when nothing existing does the job.
Stay with the feature through the build: review what engineers built, explain your reasoning, and polish the details before release.
Make each screen light, uncluttered, and precise, with micro-animations and transitions where they help.
Month 3: You have shipped your first flows. Engineers report no undefined states during the build, and the team debates prototype options instead of waiting for a single mockup.
Month 6: Common coordinator tasks you redesigned take fewer steps than before, and Product Owners come to you to test their problem definitions.
Month 12: You own UX quality for a product area and set the pattern for how the rest of the team prototypes with AI tools.
These are the gates we screen for.
At least three years designing B2B or SaaS product experiences that shipped to real users.
A portfolio that shows user flows and the reasoning behind them, including edge cases, not only finished screens.
You can explain a design decision from the user's goal and pain, and you change your mind when the evidence says so.
You prototype with AI design tools (Claude Design, Figma Make, or similar) as part of your normal way of working, and you can judge and fix what they produce.
You work within an existing design system and know when a new component is needed and when it is not.
Genuinely not required: micro-animation or illustration skills.
A visual brand or marketing design role. The design system and visual direction are set by our Art Director. Your craft shows in how the product feels to use and in the precision of each screen, not in inventing a new look.
