About FinAgra
FinAgra is an agrifintech company building the technology and operating infrastructure needed to scale commercial agriculture in emerging markets. We combine financing, agronomy, field operations and technology to make farming operations more productive, controlled and investable.
Role Purpose
We are looking for a hands-on UX/UI Designer to design FinAgra’s AI-driven operations platform.
Our users include field teams, operational managers and specialists working across complex workflows and, in many cases, challenging connectivity conditions. The product must turn detailed plans, tasks, approvals and exceptions into interfaces that are simple, clear and difficult to misuse.
You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and operational teams to understand real-world processes and translate them into intuitive mobile and web experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Design end-to-end user journeys for planning, task execution, approvals, reporting and exception handling.
Translate complex operational processes into simple and practical interfaces.
Create wireframes, prototypes and production-ready UI designs.
Conduct user research and usability testing with field and office teams.
Design for users with different levels of digital literacy and for low-connectivity environments.
Work closely with Product and Engineering from discovery through implementation.
Build and maintain a consistent design system across mobile and web products.
Ensure that critical actions, statuses and required next steps are immediately clear to users.
Review implemented designs and maintain a high standard of usability and visual consistency.
Use product data and user feedback to continuously improve the experience.
Professional Experience
Mandatory:
Experience designing B2B, operational, workflow-driven or enterprise software.
Strong portfolio demonstrating complex user journeys across mobile and web products.
Strong skills in interaction design, information architecture and visual design.
Proficiency in Figma, including components, prototypes, and design systems.
Experience conducting user interviews, testing prototypes and incorporating feedback.
Ability to simplify complicated workflows without removing essential controls.
Experience collaborating closely with product managers and engineers.
Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup where processes and requirements are still evolving.
Bonus Points:
Products used by field teams or non-technical users.
Mobile-first, offline-first or low-connectivity products.
AI-enabled products and interfaces that combine automated recommendations with human decisions.
Logistics, supply chain, workforce management, agricultural operations or industrial software.
Experience designing for users across different countries and cultural contexts.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who can make complex operational software feel clear, practical and easy to use. The product must guide users through precise daily actions while ensuring that important checks, approvals and deviations remain visible and controlled.
