About the Role
At World Fuel, we support some of the most complex flight operations in the world. As a Trip Support Specialist III, you will serve as a senior operational expert responsible for supporting international aviation missions while managing some of our most important customer relationships.
This role is ideal for experienced aviation professionals who thrive in fast-paced operational environments, enjoy solving complex challenges, and are passionate about delivering exceptional service. In addition to managing global flight operations, you will help lead operational execution, support team members, and serve as a trusted advisor to customers operating around the world.
What You'll Do
Lead Global Flight Operations
Manage complex international trip support missions from planning through completion.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned flight departments and operators.
Coordinate overflight and landing permits, airport slots, and PPRs.
Arrange ground handling, crew accommodations, and transportation.
Coordinate customs, immigration, and agricultural requirements.
Manage CANPASS submissions and Border Overflight Exemptions.
Monitor active trips and provide flight-following support.
Maintain accurate operational records and trip updates.
Manage Key Customer Relationships
Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customer accounts.
Act as a trusted operational advisor throughout every stage of a mission.
Provide proactive communication and timely operational updates.
Support customer retention through exceptional service and responsiveness.
Assist with complex customer requests and operational escalations.
Serve as a backup resource for top-tier customer accounts when required.
Provide Senior Operational Support
Assist with coordinating daily operational priorities.
Support workload distribution during high-volume periods.
Share knowledge and best practices with team members.
Provide guidance on complex operational scenarios.
Help maintain service quality and consistency across the operation.
Act as a senior resource during shift coverage when leadership is unavailable.
Ensure Quality & Operational Excellence
Perform quality assurance reviews of trip arrangements and operational records.
Review customer trips to ensure accuracy and readiness.
Create and maintain trip cost estimates.
Validate operational data before customer delivery.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent aviation missions

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability and willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Business, or a related field
Experience supporting international business aviation or commercial aviation operations
Experience managing strategic customer accounts
FAA Dispatcher Certificate or equivalent aviation qualification
Flight planning and weather briefing experience
Knowledge of aviation regulations, operational permits, airport slots, customs requirements, and international operating procedures
