Treasury Officer

Due to continued growth, a Lead Generation company serving the iGaming industry is looking for a Treasury Officer to join them on a fully remote basis. If you are based in Malta or Cyprus, you could be offered fulltime employment (without having to go to an office).

Reporting directly to the CFO, your main tasks will consist of payment processing, reconciliations, liquidity management, financial records maintenance, banking administration and reporting.

As the role is a fully remote, a high level of autonomy is required.

You will not be micro-managed but expected to take initiative, responsibility, and deliver to the highest of standards.

The role pays €40-45K on a fully remote basis (you invoice the company).

Role & Responsibilities

• Process and monitor payments across multiple banks/EMIs/PSP accounts

• High volume Bank/EMIs/PSP/crypto reconciliations

• Posting incoming/outgoing FIAT and crypto payments to accounting ERP

• Monitor and maintain account balances to ensure sufficient funding for upcoming payments

• KYC for payments

• Manage process for opening new accounts in banks/EMIs

• Maintain payment schedules and ensure timely settlements according to internal approval flows and procedures

• Set up automation features to minimize the risk of errors

• Liaise with banks, payment services, external parties regarding payment related matters.

• Support implementation and improvement of treasury processes and controls

Education, Skills & Experience

• University graduate

• A-level or higher in accounting, finance or related numerical qualification

• Highly numerical and analytical

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Experience from within the iGaming industry is much preferred

• Experience from Forex could be a good transferrable skills-match

• Experienced with payment processing, bank reconciliations, and standard KYC requirements

• Cash flow management

• Experience with multi-currency and cryptocurrency transactions

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Excellent time management, priority, and optimization skills

• Ability to communicate at all levels

• Salary €40-45K

• Fully remote on invoice OR fully remote PAYE if living in Malta or Canada
