Location: Remote - This position may be performed remotely in states where the company is authorized to employ individuals.

Compensation: The expected starting base pay range for this position is $67,000 - $84,000, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $67,000 - $101,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

 

Employment Logistics: 

The Total Rewards Specialist analyzes and supports the administration of compensation programs, including base pay, short- and long-term incentives, spot bonuses, commissions, and awards. This role helps ensure compensation programs align with company objectives related to recruiting, retention, and employee engagement. The Specialist works with compensation data, market benchmarks, job architecture, and pay structures to support informed pay decisions, program effectiveness, and compliance with applicable regulations.

The Must-Haves: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in compensation, total rewards, HR analytics, or a related field
  • Understanding of compensation analytics, principles, and terminology
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, HRIS, and compensation technologies

 

Your Mission in Motion: 

A summary of key responsibilities for the role is outlined below. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business objectives.

  • Support compensation analysis: Participate in salary benchmarking using market survey data and compensation tools, and analyze internal and external data to support pay decisions and program design.
  • Maintain pay structures: Support the maintenance of job architecture and pay ranges, and assist with job evaluations and compensation recommendations.
  • Contribute to annual compensation cycles: Collaborate on merit planning, bonus planning, market competitiveness reviews, and internal equity analysis.
  • Ensure pay compliance: Create, update or review job descriptions and job offers for alignment with regulatory requirements, including FLSA, pay transparency, and pay equity.
  • Prepare reporting and presentations: Develop compensation reports, dashboards, and stakeholder presentations to support visibility and decision-making.
  • Support continuous improvement: Contribute to compensation projects and process improvements that strengthen program accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.

The salary range above represents the national range for this position. The salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at OnTrac, and the actual base salary offered may vary depending on several factors including, but not limited to: Geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, job-related skills and competencies, market alignment, and financial considerations. 

 

Compensation decisions are made based on the specific circumstances of each hire to ensure fair and competitive pay.
