One Physics is expanding its Theranostics Services line to grow their Theranostics portfolio and help healthcare organizations safely and successfully launch and scale radiopharmaceutical programs including Lutetium-177 (¹⁷⁷Lu), Radium-223 (²²³Ra), and Fluorine-18 (¹⁸F) based agents. We are seeking a Theranostics Clinical Program Manager with a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Health Physicist background to help build and commercialize our Radiation Safety Theranostics services, guide current and prospective clients through theranostics readiness, and represent One Physics as a trusted technical voice in the field.
This is a hybrid clinical/commercial role: part product development, part client education and radiation safety consulting, and part market-facing thought leadership and business development. The ideal candidate has walked in the shoes of the hospitals and imaging centers we serve as a nuclear medicine technologist, radiation safety officer, or health physicist and wants to apply that expertise to help more sites launch theranostics programs safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Service & Product Development
- Support the development, refinement, and scaling of One Physics’ Radiation Safety Theranostics service offerings, including site-readiness assessments, shielding and facility design input, and radiation safety program development.
- Partner with internal operational and clinical teams to translate regulatory requirements (NRC, Agreement State, and institutional Radiation Safety Committee standards) into practical, repeatable service offerings.
- Contribute subject-matter expertise to the design of new offerings, marketing content, and training materials that support client theranostics launches.
Client Education & Theranostics Readiness
- Serve as a trusted advisor to current and prospective clients, educating hospital, imaging center, and health system stakeholders on the clinical, operational, and radiation-safety requirements for launching or scaling theranostics services.
- Conduct on-site and virtual readiness assessments and radiation safety testing for SPECT/Nuclear Medicine and other nuclear medicine modalities (e.g., dose calibrator checks, survey meter calibration verification, shielding/leak surveys, camera/collimator setup review) to support new radiopharmaceutical program launches.
- Guide clients through the practical steps of launching radiopharmaceutical programs, drawing on direct experience with agents such as ¹⁷⁷Lu-based therapies (e.g., Lutathera®), ²²³Ra , and ¹⁸F diagnostic agents.
- Develop and deliver training content, in-services, and readiness checklists for nuclear medicine technologists, radiation safety officers, and hospital administration.
Marketing, Business Development & Thought Leadership
- Support external marketing and product development initiatives, including attending and presenting at industry conferences (e.g., SNMMI, ASTRO, AHRA, RSNA, state radiation safety society meetings).
- Create thought leadership content — articles, webinars, case studies, and presentations — that positions One Physics as a leader in theranostics radiation safety.
- Develop and grow relationships with radiopharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, GPOs, professional societies, and health system partners to expand the Theranostics segment at One Physics.
- Partner with sales and marketing leadership on lead generation, proposal support, and client-facing collateral for the Theranostics service line.
- Gather and relay client and market feedback to inform service roadmap, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Health Physics, Radiologic Sciences, or a related clinical/scientific field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Background as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT/ARRT-N) or Health Physicist, with hands-on clinical or radiation safety experience in a nuclear medicine or radiopharmaceutical setting.
- Direct experience supporting healthcare clients through the launch of radiopharmaceutical/theranostics programs, including agents such as Lutetium-177 (¹⁷⁷Lu), Radium-223 (²²³Ra), and Fluorine-18 (¹⁸F).
- Working knowledge of radiation safety testing and quality assurance for SPECT and other nuclear medicine imaging modalities (dose calibrators, survey instruments, shielding, camera QC).
- Strong presentation, writing, and client-facing communication skills, with comfort speaking to both clinical staff and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight and multi-day travel to client sites and conferences.
- Self-directed and comfortable operating in a field-based/remote role with minimal daily supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience serving as a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) or Authorized User support for an institutional radioactive materials license.
- Prior experience in a product management, product marketing, clinical education, or client-facing role at a radiopharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare services company (e.g., Novartis, GE HealthCare, Cardinal Health, or similar).
- Master’s degree in Health Physics, Radiation Sciences, Healthcare Administration, MBA, or related field.
- Established relationships within the nuclear medicine, radiation safety, or theranostics community (e.g., SNMMI, HPS, AAPM).
- Experience developing marketing collateral, white papers, or conference presentations.
What Success Looks Like in the First Year
- Radiation Safety Theranostics service offerings are documented, standardized, and ready to scale across new client sites.
- A defined portfolio of clients has completed theranostics readiness assessments and radiation safety testing to support new program launches.
- One Physics has an established, visible presence at 2–4 major industry conferences, supported by original thought leadership content.
- New industry relationships (manufacturers, distributors, professional societies) are in place that directly contribute to Theranostics segment growth.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time by car and air, including to hospital, imaging center, and radiopharmacy environments.
- Ability to enter and work within controlled radiation areas following institutional and regulatory safety protocols.
- Ability to lift/carry radiation survey and testing equipment (up to approximately 25–35 lbs) as needed for site visits.
- Home-office/remote work environment when not traveling.
