Job Description:

Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. We are seeking a Cybersecurity join our team in support of the Army TEN-M program.

 

This is a remote position but you must be within 50 miles of a major airport as the requirement is 25-50% travel.

In this role, you strengthen network security by assessing controls, monitoring vulnerabilities, analyzing security data, and ensuring compliance across all enclaves while reporting incidents and recommending corrective actions to maintain a resilient cybersecurity posture.

Cybersecurity Analyst:

• Provides technical analysis for cybersecurity activities including security control assessments, STIG/SRG validation, continuous monitoring efforts, and POA&M development for non-compliant controls.
• Generates cybersecurity reports on security posture and recommends remedial actions.
• Analyzes data from scan tools, network security devices, security information event management systems (SIEM), log servers, application interfaces and device consoles provided.
• Reports security incidents and/or network intrusions to Incident Handlers for dissemination to appropriate points of contacts.
• Ensures all security enclaves (networks) are accounted for in planning.
• Creates/develops security policies and compliance requirements that align to each network enclave and verifies compliance efforts.
• Validation of applicable access control lists and required training for applicable system access.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education - BS/BA Degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Required Experience – 5+ years of related experience
• Security Clearance Level - Active Secret Clearance
• Location - Remote
• Travel - This position requires 25% to 50% travel, and the candidate must reside within a 50-mile radius of a major airport

The likely salary range for this position is $128,039 - $173,229. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
