SUMMARY
Be a part of changing the US healthcare system. Curative is a rapidly growing employer-sponsored health insurance company making care accessible with $0 co-pays and $0 deductibles. We aspire to change the face of healthcare by focusing on preventative medicine and lowering barriers to care. Our Telemedicine Baseline Visit Physicians (MD/DO) provide evidence-based, compassionate medical advice to members of the Curative Health Plan through annual telemedicine-based Baseline Visits. These visits focus on preventative care and are a key touchpoint in allowing members to use their $0 deductible, $0 co-pay plan to the most benefit. This role also involves collaboration with our team of non-prescriptive Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform Curative’s Baseline Visits with health plan members
• Supervise and collaborate with APPs
• Contribute to the development of a pleasant, constructive workplace
• Secure and maintain multi-state medical licenses as requested

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Doctoral degree (MD/DO)
• Board-Certified Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Preventive Medicine
• At least 3 years of primary care experience post residency
• At least 1 year telemedicine experience
• Active and unencumbered medical license in both Texas and Georgia in addition to at least 4 of the following states: Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Louisiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, New Jersey, California, North Carolina, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee or Florida.
• Participate in a rotating coverage schedule as an alternate collaborating physician for assigned Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Permanent residency in the state of Georgia
• Willing and able to meet in person once annually with collaborating APPs based on Georgia Composite Medical Board requirements
• Superior interpersonal communication skills and a servant-leader mindset

PREFERRED

• Virtual primary care experience
• Experience collaborating with Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners
• Spanish fluency
• Startup or high-growth healthcare experience

SCHEDULE

• Early (8 am - 4:30 pm CST) and late (11:30 am - 8 pm CST) shifts available
