Technical Video Producer (AI & SaaS) - Remote

About the role
We are looking for a Technical Video Producer (Screencaster) to produce educational tutorials and reviews of technical platforms: AI tools, SaaS, automation, and development.
You will follow a concept and creative brief and demonstrate a practical result on the real interface, step by step, accurately and without filler. Typical video length is 5–15 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Work from the concept. The concept from our scriptwriters is the top-priority source: block order, use case, transitions between blocks, and the hook, climax, and payoff points. If the use case is already defined, it is final and is not replaced.
• Analyze the brief. Extract mandatory facts, prohibited wording, and Do's/Don'ts, and follow them strictly. Use cases in the brief are a fallback only, used when the concept does not define one.
• Match all approved titles and the keyword. The demo must fulfil the promise of every approved title at once (for example, speed, simplicity, low entry barrier). It must be visible on screen, not only stated.
• Record live demonstrations. Perform the steps on the live platform and capture real results. Button, section, model, and plan names come only from the real interface or official sources, with no invented details.
• Prepare inputs. Prepare working prompts, code, terminal commands, or API calls in English, ready to paste without edits during recording.
• Work block by block. Test a block on the platform, share screenshots and results, refine, and only then move on.
• Corrections are applied across all material without being re-requested.
• Handle failures honestly. Real errors, timeouts, and platform limitations are not hidden. They are used as part of the demonstration or disclosed honestly.
• Add visual aids. Use zooms, highlights, captions, arrows, and diagrams that help viewers follow the process.
• Follow the branding. Apply the Company's brand guidelines, style guide, and any video-specific requirements.
• Deliver final files. Provide complete video files in MP4 format, 3840×2160 (4K) or 1920×1080 (Full HD).
• Record a voiceover (secondary). When needed, record a clean voiceover from the provided script, synchronized with the video. Voiceover is not the main focus of the role.

Content standards

• Evergreen material. No mentions of the year, dates, or seasons, and no phrases like "recently" or "this year". Examples must stay relevant for a long time.
• Neutral for an international English-speaking audience. No regional markers such as currencies, locations, or names that point to a specific country.
• Practical value. A simple, engaging use case that does not overload the viewer, with minimal salesy language.
• Original demo data. Fictional companies, products, and characters that illustrate the platform's capabilities.
• Examples from the concept or brief are not copied.
• Sponsorship disclosure. Sponsored videos are labelled according to YouTube's requirements and the brief. Anything the brief prohibits, such as pricing, is not stated.

Requirements

• Proven experience producing screencasts or educational videos (portfolio required).
  
• Confident use of screen-recording tools (e.g. OBS Studio, Screen Studio) and editing software (DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut).
• Technical literacy: understanding of AI platforms, SaaS, automation, terminal, API, and code sufficient for accurate demonstrations.
• Ability to test platforms independently, learn a new interface, and quickly find the essentials in documentation or online.
  
• Ability to analyze a concept and brief and extract priorities, constraints, and mandatory facts.
  
• Hardware capable of recording and exporting 1080p video, ideally 4K.
• English proficiency sufficient to read briefs, concepts, and English-language interfaces.

Non-negotiables

• Videos are delivered as MP4, 4K or Full HD, fully ready for publication.
• Full compliance with the concept and brief, including mandatory facts and prohibited wording.
• No fabricated UI details. Live screenshots and real platform behavior take priority over assumptions.
• Clean frame: no passwords, API keys, personal data, or unrelated notifications. Browser toolbars and tracking parameters in URLs are hidden.
• Only the provided test accounts are used. Sign-in and registration are not shown unless the brief requires it.
  
• Agreed deadlines are met and feedback is handled promptly.
• You hold the rights to all assets (music, fonts, graphics). Briefs and materials stay confidential until publication.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Python, Node.js, Playwright, APIs, web scraping, automation, or DevOps.
• Experience with no-code tools, AI agents, MCP integrations, and generative models (video, image, code).
• Experience recording mobile screens (e.g. with Screen Studio).
• Experience writing scripts and video copy.
• Understanding of viewer retention: hook, pacing, climax, payoff.
• Motion graphics, subtitles, thumbnails, and YouTube SEO skills.
• Experience handling several concurrent projects for different clients.
