About the Role:
The client is seeking a Technical Talent Sourcer to support its recruiting team by identifying, engaging, and qualifying top technology professionals. This role is responsible for building candidate pipelines, conducting initial outreach and screenings, and presenting qualified talent to the internal recruiter for further evaluation. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, enjoys research, understands technical terminology, and is motivated by achieving measurable recruiting goals within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing & Research
- Source and identify qualified candidates for technical and non technical positions using Boolean searches and multiple sourcing strategies.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Research companies, industries, and talent markets to identify high quality candidates.
- Adapt sourcing strategies depending on the type of position and market conditions.
Candidate Outreach & Screening
- Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, and recruiting campaigns.
- Perform high level screening calls using established qualification criteria.
- Assess candidate interest, availability, and minimum job requirements.
- Present qualified candidates to the internal recruiter for further evaluation.
Recruitment Operations
- Maintain accurate candidate records within Salesforce and the Applicant Tracking System.
- Track recruiting activities, candidate progress, and sourcing metrics.
- Participate in daily stand up meetings, weekly team meetings, and ongoing training sessions.
- Collaborate closely with recruiters to understand new search assignments and hiring priorities.
Performance & Collaboration
- Meet activity and productivity goals related to outreach, candidate conversations, and qualified submissions.
- Contribute to a collaborative, metrics driven recruiting environment.
- Continuously improve sourcing techniques and recruiting knowledge through training and feedback.
Qualifications & Skills
Must
- Experience sourcing candidates or supporting recruitment processes.
- Technical background through education or professional experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Technical Support, Network Administration, or a related field.
- Ability to understand technical terminology and communicate effectively with technology professionals.
- Experience creating or learning Boolean search techniques.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Professional phone presence and appearance for video meetings.
- Experience working with CRM or Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Reliable computer, headset, internet connection, and workspace.
- Availability to work full time between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Central Time with flexibility to adjust schedules based on client needs.
Preferred
- Previous experience as a Technical Sourcer, Recruiter, or Recruiting Coordinator.
- Experience recruiting within the technology industry.
- Experience using Salesforce as a CRM or ATS.
- Familiarity with outbound recruiting campaigns and candidate engagement strategies.
- Experience working in remote recruiting environments
