AET Federal, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Program Support / System Administrator to support an anticipated Air Force Medical Command requirement involving the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support system and its technical refresh, LogiCole.

The selected candidate will provide daily system administration, medical logistics data management, end-user support, training, and technical assistance for Air Force DMLSS/LogiCole Host, Client, and Centralized Service Distribution Center locations assigned to OCONUS Hub #3. Supported locations span Europe, the Middle East, and the Indo-Pacific region.

This is a remote position, subject to Government approval. The selected candidate must be able to provide responsive support to geographically dispersed OCONUS users. Normal duty hours are expected to be Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the employee’s local time zone unless an alternative schedule is approved. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily administration and functional support for Air Force DMLSS and LogiCole systems.
  • Monitor system and server operational status and troubleshoot technical or functional issues affecting OCONUS sites.
  • Monitor and, when required, manually perform end-of-day, end-of-month, and end-of-fiscal-year system processes.
  • Manage and troubleshoot the DMLSS Communication Manager and associated data exchanges.
  • Assist OCONUS DMLSS/LogiCole site administrators with operations, upgrades, vendor-product updates, pricing-data changes, and server-management activities.
  • Coordinate effectively with geographically dispersed Air Force users and technical teams.
  • Identify system changes, software deficiencies, data issues, and implementation problems.
  • Document and report deficiencies through appropriate Air Force and DHA support channels.
  • Maintain the accuracy, availability, and integrity of Air Force War Reserve Materiel data.
  • Provide technical assistance with Assemblage Management, including assemblage creation and deletion, allowance updates, prime and substitute items, inventories, gains and losses, shipments, sales, modernization actions, fund targets, and reports.
  • Manage replenishment and help identify alternative sources of supply using e-commerce, Prime Vendor programs, and DMLSS strategic-sourcing functionality.
  • Maintain electronic catalog records and process sourcing and commodity-class updates.
  • Provide first-level help-desk support for DMLSS/LogiCole users assigned to OCONUS Hub #3.
  • Respond to questions involving system functionality, user accounts, requests, reports, data, and business processes.
  • Track inquiries and document issues, actions, resolutions, and system-status communications.
  • Troubleshoot system problems, implement approved workarounds, and escalate complex issues.
  • Support system change requests, data patches, and system incident reports.
  • Develop BCS reports and assist users with Business Intelligence Common Services and Report & Analytics applications.
  • Analyze trouble-call data to identify recurring issues, operational trends, and training needs.
  • Develop, update, and deliver virtual DMLSS/LogiCole training for OCONUS users.
  • Provide hands-on remote assistance and train-the-trainer support through Microsoft Teams.
  • Develop user guides, presentation materials, technical instructions, and other training documentation.
  • Participate as a technical subject-matter expert in meetings, working groups, technical reviews, deployments, and implementation activities.
  • Communicate clearly with Air Force leadership, site administrators, technical personnel, and end-users across multiple geographic regions.
Required Qualifications

  • At least four years of Air Force medical logistics experience.
  • All four required years must include hands-on use of the DMLSS AIS.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, system administration, and DMLSS/LogiCole functionality and management.
  • Working knowledge of Air Force DMLSS financial interfaces.
  • Experience developing Business Intelligence Common Services reports.
  • Proficiency with electronic catalogs and DMLSS strategic-sourcing functionality.
  • Experience identifying alternative supply sources and supporting cost-saving sourcing decisions.
  • Working knowledge of DLA-Troop Support Prime Vendor programs and payment systems.
  • Core knowledge of Assemblage Management functionality.
  • Experience troubleshooting system, application, data, user-account, and business-process issues.
  • Experience providing end-user support and technical training.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior managers and end-users.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and support geographically dispersed users.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Tier 1/NACI background investigation and Government suitability determination.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting AFMEDCOM.
  • Experience supporting Air Force medical logistics operations in Europe, the Middle East, or the Indo-Pacific region.
  • Experience managing Air Force War Reserve Materiel data.
  • Experience supporting OCONUS DMLSS/LogiCole Host, Client, or CSDC locations.
  • Experience with Allowance Standard Management System updates.
  • Experience supporting DMLSS-to-LogiCole implementations or system deployments.
  • Familiarity with DAFI 41-230, applicable Air Force technical orders, and DHA IT PMO guidance.
  • Experience delivering technical support and virtual training across multiple time zones.
Additional Information

This position supports an anticipated federal contract and is contingent upon contract award, funding, and Government approval of proposed personnel. The work is expected to be performed remotely, with no routine travel currently anticipated. The selected individual must comply with all Government suitability, system-access, cybersecurity, privacy, and training requirements.
