About MTechZilla

MTechZilla is a web, mobile app, AI app, and cloud app development agency based in India, serving as an offshore engineering partner for US and EU companies. We work with US and EU engineering teams through three flexible engagement models - staff augmentation, team augmentation and software development outsourcing. Our clients are CTOs, VPs of Engineering and Directors of Engineering at 50 to 500 employee tech companies.

The Role

We are hiring a Technical Content Writer who can do more than write. You will understand how US and EU engineering leaders think about scaling their teams, grasp how our engineers build AI, cloud, web, and mobile solutions, and turn that knowledge into content that earns trust with technical decision-makers.

The role sits at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and engineering. You will work closely with our marketing, engineering, and leadership teams to position MTechZilla as a credible voice on offshore development, engineering team scaling, and AI application development.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Write high-quality, insight-driven content: blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, technical guides, website and landing page copy, product release notes, and thought-leadership pieces.

  2. Partner with engineers, AI specialists, project managers, and leadership to turn complex solutions and client wins into clear, compelling narratives.

  3. Build a deep understanding of our services, delivery model, and target audience, and reflect it in every piece.

  4. Produce content that supports brand positioning, SEO goals, and lead generation across the funnel.

  5. Tell stories that showcase our engineering depth, process, and measurable impact on clients.

  6. Track developments in AI (LLMs, generative AI, agents, MLOps, MCP, Eval), modern software architecture, and cloud and DevOps practices, and convert them into forward-looking articles.

  7. Explain technical concepts accurately for mixed audiences, from CTOs and engineering leads to founders and business heads.

  8. Own the editorial calendar for assigned content streams and ship consistently against deadlines.

  9. Help define and maintain our brand voice, tone, and content standards as the function grows.

Requirements

Must Have

Apply even if you don't tick every box, or if you have niche expertise within the role.

  1. 2+ years of experience as a technical content writer or copywriter in a software development company, AI/ML firm, SaaS product, or IT services environment.

  2. Ability to quickly understand complex business and technical concepts and explain them clearly to non-experts.

  3. Proven track record of long-form technical or thought-leadership content that educates and engages.

  4. Excellent writing, research, and storytelling skills, with strong command of grammar and clarity.

  5. Working familiarity with the software development lifecycle, APIs, cloud platforms, and modern tech stacks.

  6. Foundational understanding of AI and machine learning concepts (LLMs, generative AI, model training, data pipelines) and the ability to write about them accurately.

  7. Understanding of SEO best practices and how to write content that ranks and converts.

  8. A portfolio of published work on technology, software, AI, or digital transformation topics.

Good to have

  • Experience writing for B2B technology buyers (CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Product Heads, founders).

  • Comfort interviewing engineers and distilling their insights into business-friendly narratives.

  • Hands-on exposure to AI tools and frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, LangChain, vector databases) or basic coding literacy (Python, JavaScript).

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps, microservices, or data engineering concepts.

  • Experience with content strategy, analytics, or developer-focused content.

  • Familiarity with marketing tools such as HubSpot, Ahrefs, Semrush, or Google Analytics.

  • Experience creating content for developer communities, product documentation, or GitHub README files.

  • PF (Provident Fund) and other statutory benefits
  • Paid time off
  • Paid sick leave and casual leave
  • Public holidays
