Job Summary

  • Prepare and review direct tax calculations, tax filings, workpapers, and supporting documentation for non-US jurisdictions, including India, Canada, or the UK.
  • Support tax compliance processes by gathering, validating, and analyzing financial data from internal systems and business stakeholders.
  • Assist with tax provision, reporting, reconciliations, and documentation required for internal and external tax obligations.
  • Research tax regulations and identify potential implications for business operations, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with finance, accounting, legal, and external advisors to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax deliverables.
  • Maintain organized tax records, schedules, and audit support documentation in accordance with internal controls and regulatory expectations.
  • Support process improvements that increase accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across tax compliance and reporting activities.
  • Assist with indirect tax, sales and use tax, US federal tax, and SALT-related matters as needed.

Qualifications

  • CA or CPA designation required.
  • Strong experience with non-US taxation, particularly in India, Canada, or the UK.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of direct tax compliance, reporting, documentation, and analysis.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing tax workpapers, reconciliations, filings, or provision-related schedules.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret tax regulations and apply them to practical business scenarios.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across finance, accounting, and external advisory teams.
  • Preferred experience with US federal tax, SALT, indirect tax, or sales and use tax.
