- The Talent Sourcer IV partners closely with Recruiters and key stakeholders to identify, attract, and engage exceptional talent that strengthens our candidate pipelines. We’re seeking someone who is resourceful, creative, performance‑driven, and naturally inclined toward research. This role requires the ability to uncover talent through innovative sourcing strategies, particularly for hard‑to‑fill positions. The ideal candidate is an outstanding communicator, technologically savvy, and energized by the continuous pursuit of top talent.
- The Talent Sourcer IV plays a critical role in building robust pipelines, delivering an exceptional candidate experience, and supporting programs across the organization. This position supports multiple contracts by generating targeted candidate lists across various disciplines, conducting high‑volume cold calls, executing email and text outreach campaigns, and leveraging social media platforms to maintain an active pipeline across multiple locations. The Talent Sourcer IV maintains consistent communication with qualified candidates, conducts initial phone screens, and transitions vetted candidates to the appropriate Recruiter. Maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date recruiting reports is also a key responsibility to ensure visibility and alignment across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively source passive candidates for current and forecasted openings across aerospace, defense and national security programs using internal and external tools, market research, networking, and direct outreach.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing channels to identify and engage passive talent.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical skill areas and hard-to-fill locations, including OCONUS and contingency environments.
- Conduct initial outreach, screening, and qualification of prospective candidates to ensure alignment with role requirements.
- Partner with Recruiters to understand program requirements, labor categories, contract restraints and key selection criteria. Develop sourcing strategies, including deliverables, timelines, and measurable metrics for a variety of technical and non‑technical positions globally.
- Proactively collaborate with Recruiting team members by providing regular updates on sourcing activities, pipeline status, and market insights.
- Maintain accurate, well‑documented candidate actions, notes, and progress within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Track and report sourcing metrics (pipeline health, response rates, conversion ratios, time-to-slate, targeted outreach) and adjust strategies as needed.
- Build relationships with cleared talent communities, military transition programs, universities, and professional organizations relevant to aerospace and defense.
- Stay current on market intelligence: competitor activity, compensation trends, market dynamics, and regional talent availability.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
- Experience:
- Minimum of (10) ten years’ experience in Sourcing or Recruiting role in Defense contracting.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking System/HR Systems.
- Proven ability in conducting cold calls and managing high‑volume sourcing efforts.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and major job boards and experience with CRM capabilities for targeted outreach campaigns.
- Strong Boolean search skills and ability to creatively leverage multiple sourcing channels.
- Familiarity with federal contracting environments (e.g., FAR/DFARS concepts, labor categories, proposal recruiting).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage passive candidates professionally and persuasively.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions, priorities, and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- OCONUS recruiting experience, specifically with AN and/or OCN candidate populations.
- Experience supporting capture/proposal efforts (e.g., talent mapping, key personnel identification).
- Knowledge of OFCCP and EEOC compliance in a federal contractor environment.
