As a Talent Research Partner, you will help strengthen EEI’s recruiting capabilities by identifying, engaging, and building relationships with top technical and professional talent across the organization. You will partner closely with Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition Partners to support sourcing strategy, pipeline development, market research, and personalized candidate engagement.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 / year

The above salary range is based on the Denver, Colorado labor market and subject to change based on location.


This position is open to local, in-office, or remote candidates in the Denver-Metro area who can attend occasional in-person meetings and events. 


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, and build relationships with active and passive candidates across technical, professional, support, leadership, and executive-level roles. 
  • Use Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, and targeted outreach to build strong candidate pipelines. 
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition Partners to support sourcing strategies for current openings and future workforce needs. 
  • Conduct market research, talent mapping, and competitive intelligence to help inform recruiting strategy and hiring decisions. 
  • Create thoughtful sourcing campaigns and candidate messaging that reflect EEI’s people-first culture and employer brand. 
  • Screen prospective candidates for role fit, qualifications, and alignment with EEI’s values, culture, and business needs. 
  • Track sourcing activity, pipeline health, candidate engagement, and market insights to support recruiting effectiveness and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in sourcing, recruiting, talent research, talent acquisition support, or a related recruiting function. 
  • Strong sourcing and talent research skills, including passive outreach and candidate engagement strategies. 
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, recruiting technologies, and sourcing tools across multiple channels. 
  • Ability to build candidate pipelines, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with candidates, hiring leaders, and recruiting partners. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail and a relationship-centered approach. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive candidate and organizational information with confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity. 
  • Currently authorized to work in the U.S. full-time. 

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field. 
  • Experience sourcing or recruiting for technical roles within engineering, construction, commissioning, facilities, or related industries. 
  • Experience developing sourcing campaigns, talent maps, workforce market analysis, or competitive talent research. 
  • Experience supporting employer branding, candidate engagement, recruiting operations, or high-growth recruiting environments. 

Working Conditions:

  • Typical Travel: Minimal: Up to 10%, based on business needs.
  • Work Environment: Fully remote role with typical office-based work. Occasional field interaction, recruiting events, or in-person meetings may be required based on business needs.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods, work on a computer, and occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
  • Reports to: Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Supervisory duties: This role has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
  • Partners with: Works closely with the Talent Acquisition team, People Services team, hiring leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders across EEI.
  • Key Representative to: Prospective candidates, hiring leaders, recruiting partners, external talent communities, and EEI stakeholders.
