Job Description

  • Supervise a team of Coordinators, providing guidance on training, job postings, and candidate inquiries.

  • Support the recruitment and interview process by tracking candidate progress and coordinating follow-up communications throughout the hiring cycle.

  • Manage and maintain job postings across multiple platforms, ensuring timely publication of new openings and removal of filled positions.

  • Schedule and conduct interviews, meetings, and other recruitment-related activities as requested by Hiring Managers.

  • Oversee and maintain recruitment platforms, including LinkedIn, SmartRecruiters, and Idealist.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, addressing questions and providing support throughout the hiring process.

  • Research and implement new recruiting strategies, sourcing channels, and job boards to expand candidate outreach and attract top talent.

  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documentation as requested.

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Attend and actively participate in full staff, management, and departmental meetings.

 

Qualifications

  • Must be available to volunteer 12-15 hours per week.

  • Must be available to attend a monthly company-wide meeting every 2nd Tuesday at 12:30PM EST.

  • Experience with recruiting platforms and job boards is preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and procedures.

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and/or equivalent professional experience preferred.

  • Must be based in the United States.

  • This role is best suited for individuals seeking a longer-term volunteer opportunity (12+ months preferred).
