SAIC is seeking a Chief Systems Engineer to support the Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC PAC) Naval Messaging CB ISEA. The work will be conducted at the Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC PAC) San Diego, CA, Old Town Center and remotely on SIPRNet. The SAIC Team provides a full range of engineering, technical support, management, training, and logistics services in support of the Messaging programs. JOB DUTIES:
- Provide leadership and direction for the sustainment systems engineering for the Naval Messaging ISEA.
- Evaluate systems engineering tools, design custom workflows for Naval Messaging and work with team members to integrate the tools into daily procedures.
- Develop systems engineering strategy and documentation to support the sustainment of Naval Messaging systems.
- Modernize all ISEA systems engineering process into a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach as directed by the DoN and in accordance with NAVWAR guidance.
- Manage system requirements and their allocation for the Naval Messaging systems.
